NAQUAWN HALLBACK  

Mr. Hallback is currently the Chairman

of Easy Living Shelter. His experience and outstanding achievements make him an ideal candidate for this position.

Mr. Hallback recently attended Albany State where he has obtained his Associate’s Degree in Business

Management. He has enhanced his management skills successfully by continually being active in the field of business management as well as enhancing his ability to oversee a plethora of canvassing teams where he has supervised a team of 20 canvassers. While

his background is primarily in management, he offers qualities and skills that are adaptable to other environments. Such as structuring and organizing legal documents for a top-of-the-line security company. 

While working for Impact Investigations security he has obtained the skills of complying with local,

state, and federal regulations. Which makes him very knowledgeable in reading important documents. He has exceptional experience in communication and has been providing excellent client services. His experiences are grounded, highlighted, and progressively increasing

his responsibilities in the areas of direct administrative support. Excellent supervisory, organization planning, and teamwork skills. He is very knowledgeable in Coordinating and implementing job readiness for the Youth, underemployed, and low-income populations.

He has facilitated individual and group counseling workshops on business management. He also inquires about the skill in extensive recruiting and screening.

 Mr. Hallback also has experience of

volunteering in shelters for the past 7 years with youth clients and adult clients. Where he has taken his clients out to service the community by volunteering at various soup kitchens such as the Food Bank Of New York.

TYNECCA VELEZ

Tynecca Velez is an active Chief Operating

Officer at Easy Living Shelter. She works for a prestigious Charter school in New York City her exceptional work there has enabled her to receive numerous promotions in the field of management. Her experience and solid record of achievement and organizational skills make her an ideal candidate for this position.

She recently attended The College Of New Rochelle her Professional Studies allowed her to obtain a

Bachelor’s Degree in psychology. Ms. Velez attended Julia Richman High School for The Talent Unlimited where she earned her High School Diploma in Performing Arts.

Ms. Velez has received numerous certificates

for her communication and organizational skills. She has enhanced her presentation skills by successfully obtaining a certificate in public speaking, as well as enhancing her ability to offer excellent customer service. While her background is primarily in coordination and public speaking, She offers qualities and skills that are adaptable to other environments.

Ms. Velez also works extremely well with children and has the ability to reach them in a positive way due to her expertise in child psychology. Her expertise has given her the ability to notice when an individual may need guidance. She has exceptional experience in communication and has been a domestic violence Advocate through Palladium Domestic Violence Shelter since 2002. Her experiences are well-grounded and highlighted by progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of direct administrative support.

ADERA WILLIAMS

Biography

Adera Williams was born in Brooklyn New York, raised in Mount Vernon with her family, and resided there for 11 years. Ms. Williams relocated to Connecticut in 2001 and attended West Haven High School where she obtained her High School diploma in 2005. She continued her Education at MCNY obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Science Business Administration.

Ms. Williams relocated to the Bronx and became a mother of three beautiful children. While residing in the Bronx she discovered her passion to help serve the Youth within the community and began to focus on community outreach which led her to pursue her dreams of becoming a business owner. She also extended her passion and began to work with special needs adults and children. 

Ms. Williams took her endeavors and ventured into the business world by studying credit repair and tax preparer, this leads Ms. Williams to gain an impeccable love for budgeting and saving that expanded and gave her the ability to micromanage money to help businesses with their budget plans.

Ms. Williams has a passion for connecting with others and building and strengthening relationships, so she decided to follow her dreams and passion in a way that she can use all of her skills and education and began to volunteer at a non-profit organization known as Easy Living Shelter where she holds the position as Chief Financial Officer.

NAOMI LANE

Biography


Naomi lane is the acting Treasurer at Easy Living Shelter.

 She is a retired Wep Specialist/ Case Manager, Her experience and solid record of achievement make her an ideal candidate for this position.

Ms. Lane attended Pace University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She is highly experienced in managing workshops, providing counseling, and service coordinating. She has Collaborated and managed services with numerous partner agencies and representatives, where she maintained a database of employers and client contacts in a very organized manner.

Ms. Lane Provided individual, group counseling and coordinated referrals for a plethora of clients. She has organized and facilitated pre-employment skills training for 300 Clients. With such phenomenal experience in the management field, this makes her very knowledgeable in reading important documents. She has also worked in a private school as well as a Daycare which gives her the expertise to be able to help assist with planning and being engaged in making executive decisions for the youth.

Her experiences are well-grounded and highlighted by progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of direct administrative support. Ms, Lane loves working in the community which encouraged her to partner with the 81st. Precinct community partner, County Committee Person and became a (V.I.D.A) “Vanguard Independent Association Democratic” Member. She has volunteered for Assembly Member Tremaine Wright as part of her Canvassing Team and still very active in this field.

In her free time, Ms. Lane enjoys going to Art Museums, playing Tennis, and Bowling, She also enjoys listening to Jazz and singing R&B, Gospel Music. This experience gives her the qualifications to work with our youth and enhance their skills in these areas along with her educational background.

Also giving her the expertise to give advice or direct the music programs that we will have at our facilities.

KAY CARDONA 

Autobiography

Kay Cardona is a leader within her community who has graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and attended Bronx Community College. Kay is currently a  home health Aide that has been taking care of many patients since 2003 and has helped lift her patients spirits to nurse them back into health. Ms. Cardona has excellent communication skills that reflect through her great work Ms. Cardona not only does with her community and with her patients but also with the Youth. Ms. Cardona has dedicated her passion to helping the youth since she was in high school, her passion for the youth has grown stronger through the course of the years, Ms. Cardona took her passion for the Youth and became a Teacher’s Aide in a pre-k and Kindergarten Afterschool program at Beth Jacob Beth Miriam School. 

Ms. Cardona has 2 years of experience in  Americorp where she attended numerous  workshops that gave her the knowledge and outreach to Bronx communities regarding Public Safety and received certificates of completion. Kay utilized her skills of Public Safety by working with the afterschool Program in two prestigious Public Schools (P.S 96 and P.S. 97) while serving on the Americorps Corporation. Ms. Cardona did not stop there; she took her years of experience and began to serve on numerous Boards in her Community, one being Easy Living Shelter Inc. to dedicate herself to helping this organization accomplish their Mission. Ms.Cardona serves as the Board Secretary Ms. Cardona is more than a Secretary of Board; she is a dedicated woman that helps the organization meet their needs to empower the youth each and every day.  

EDNITTA WRIGHT  

Autobiography

Mrs. Ednitta Wright is a retired Correction

Officer of Central Prison in Raleigh North Carolina. Mrs. Wright  Graduated from Morris High school and continued her education at Wake Technical Community College where she obtained her Associate’s Degree.

Mrs. Wright is a Community Activist that works hard in many communities throughout the world she has bridged the gap in North Carolina and New York (The Bronx)  to bring Awareness to Suicide Prevention. Mrs. Wright  has made a difference in many lives through her hard work and dedication to the community by hosting a plethora of community events such as Suicide Awareness Events and Walks to bring the community together to help people have a better understanding of Suicide and what empact it not only has on the individuals’ life but also on the families lives.

Mrs. Wright passion for the community not only lead her to help bring Awareness about Suicide but it has also lead her to spread her love to the less fortunate families that are in need of assistance, due to the fact that she wanted to be a part of the solution for many families struggling mentally to survive day by day. Mrs. Wright has elevated her endeavours starting her own organization that is an alternative resource for families that need further assistance within the community that needs help gaining employment, furthering their education and assisting them in finding housing. Mrs. Wright also has her own cleaning company that provides services for many Community Based Organizations in North Carolina Providing Jobs for the Youth and low-income households.

Mrs. Wright Currently holds a seat on a very prestigious Non- Profit Organization Easy Living Shelter that Services Youth ages 9-24 Years Old.  Mrs. Wright goes above and beyond for the Youth within the organization and travels to New York every year to host one of the many Annual events( Youth Suicide Awareness Events) that they host together.
